Quiznos [link to Quiznos Singapore’s Facebook page] is a quick service restaurant specialising in submarine sandwiches or “subs” which was brought into Singapore in 2009 by Kitchen Language, a subsidiary of the Far East Organization. Quiznos seeks to target today’s busy consumers with a delicious yet easy-to-eat solution.

A very good friend of mine approached me to come up with a brand identity for her business idea. She wanted to go into selling party favours, cards, and stationery together with her friend.
What you see here is the first iteration of the design. Since the idea was to come up with something as whimsical as I could, I went ahead with pink and fluffy clouds. These motifs can easily be transferred to any stationery to give an instant grunge feel. The font used is also playful yet unique, communicating the playfulness of the business at one glance.

The biblical saying goes, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”. I truly understood what that meant today as I prepared to give out the exam blessing that we have prepared. As mentioned, a great part of it was also to remind others that someone cares amidst this busy period. [Read more…]
